Elon Musk has launched the new "Grok for Government," which is yet another swift move for the company after launching the latest model from xAI, Grok 4. Immediately after the launch, Musk and Grok secured a US Defense contract worth $200 million to reinforce and modernize the Pentagon using its artificial intelligence capabilities.

The Pentagon has signed contracts with four AI companies to use and test their technology. There is also money for Grok 4 from xAI.

The news comes alongside the U.S. Department of Defense’s announcement of $200 million contracts awarded to xAI, Anthropic, Google and OpenAI for AI implementation.
