Houston Astros' stadium gets new name as team announces deal with Japanese company
The retractable-roof home of the Houston Astros will have a new name next season. What we've called Minute Maid Park since 2002 will now become Daikin Park beginning in the 2025 season, the Astros announced Monday morning.

HOUSTON — The Houston Astros announced that Minute Maid Park would be renamed "Daikin Park" at an event Monday morning. Daikin Comfort Technologies purchased the naming rights for 15 seasons. The name change was coming January 2025 through the 2039 season. The Astros were working on updating the stadium signage and branding.
The Houston Astros could be having to find a backup option if their superstar free agent decides to go elsewhere.
