The most notable difference between the Xbox Ally and the Steam Deck is the operating system. Like the ROG Ally, the Xbox Ally will also use Windows 11, while the Steam Deck uses Valve's SteamOS.
Sadly we still don't have official word on pricing, but we do know more about Microsoft's equivalent of Steam Deck Verified for handhelds.
Is a Steam Deck Certified-style system on its way for Windows-based handhelds like the Ally and Legion Go? We'll have to wait and see.
