Diablo 4 Season 8 is nearly here. Here’s everything we know so far about boss powers and the return of Belial.

"Belial is back in Sanctuary," Diablo 4 lead season designer Deric Nuñez said during the livestream. "He is climbing his way to the top of the lair boss ladder. He is the new exalted, pinnacle challenge within the ladder. He is the highest challenge, the highest reward."

The biggest season 8 highlight revealed today is the return of the fan-favorite Diablo 3 boss, Belial, otherwise known as the Lord of Lies, otherwise known as the freaky dragon-looking boss fight that happens during the final quest of Diablo 3's third act - you know, the one that probably wrecked you so hard that you had to lower the difficulty.

Diablo 4 shares a lot of information about Season 8, and reveals that a classic Diablo 3 enemy will soon be back to haunt players.
