Nvidia shares fell Monday as reports, citing The Information, spread that its next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) Blackwell chips have faced problems with accompanying servers that overheat.

Apparently, rack suppliers have changed the rack designs at Nvidia’s request more than once. The Information first noted the issue. But Nvidia quickly pointed out to Reuters that design changes are part and parcel of developing high-end tech. The word is that the requested changes were designed to solve heat-related problems.
