By Milana Vinn (Reuters) -Private equity firm Thoma Bravo has agreed to buy human resources software provider Dayforce for $12.3 billion, including debt, in a take-private deal that executives hope will help expand on the company's AI capabilities.

Toronto entrepreneur David Ossip transformed one of America’s oldest technology companies, Ceridian Corp., from an underperforming, debt-laden private equity-owned enterprise based in Minneapolis into a leading enterprise software vendor that was largely managed from Canada.

Canadian-led HR management software firm Dayforce has confirmed that it is engaged in advanced discussions with US private equity giant Thoma Bravo regarding a potential sale.
