The Arizona Cardinals lost their second preseason game Saturday night, a 27-7 defeat to the Denver Broncos in which they allowed 562 yards and only gained 135. They didn't play any of their starters expect for rookie cornerback Will Johnson and new linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither.

Two games down in preseason football with one to go and the 2025 NFL Draft class for the Arizona Cardinals continues to get plenty of work. Although Walter Nolen remains out, Will Johnson got starter snaps for the second straight game. Most of his fellow draft mates are also finding the field quite bit.

Carter had a 5-yard run, but seven other carries totaled only five yards. He added 19 yards on five receptions. Demercado played as much as he did because of his ability as a pass protector. The running backs totaled 29 yards on 15 attempts.
