SPOKANE, Wash. -- A 78-64 win over USC on Monday helped UConn earn a spot in the Final Four for the 16th time in 17 years. Deep runs in the Women's NCAA Tournament are nothing new for the Huskies, but this particular one is special because it is Paige Bueckers' last before heading to the WNBA.

In the UConn women’s basketball team’s Elite Eight win over USC, the Huskies’ graduating seniors rose to the occasion on the biggest stage.

UConn has advanced to the Final Four for the 24th time after beating USC 78-64 in the Elite Eight. Paige Bueckers (31 points, 6 assists) and Sarah Strong (22 points, 17 rebounds) led the way for the Huskies.

EAST LANSING -- Less than 48 hours after Michigan State’s season came to an end in the Elite Eight, a key player is apparently looking for a new school. Junior guard and co-captain Tre Holloman will enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. He would be the first player on the roster with eligibility remaining to enter the portal.
