A traveller who received a “Not to Land” notice recorded a video showing another traveller being hit in the face.

PUTRAJAYA: No officials from the department were involved in the incident where a foreign traveller was assaulted at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1, says the Malaysian Immigration Department.

The Immigration Department today said none of its officers were involved in the alleged assault of a foreigner who was also denied entry at KLIA. It noted that reports based on videos of the alleged assault had incorrectly claimed Immigration officers were involved in the incident at Terminal 1 of the airport.
