Sinopec Corp and Saudi Aramco have started constructing a refinery and petrochemical complex in southeast China's Fujian province, marking another big investment in the country's recent wave of petrochemicals expansions.

Saudi Aramco has started construction of a new integrated refining and petrochemical complex in Fujian Province in China as part of its ambitious liquids-to-chemicals strategy. The complex is being developed with China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and Fujian Petrochemical Company Limited (FPCL).
