A recall has been issued by Grimmway Farms affecting organic carrots, here is what you need to know about the ongoing recall.

Grimmway Farms, based in Bakersfiled, California, has recalled the carrots, which included whole and baby organic carrots sold in bags under multiple brand names including 365, Cal-Organic, Nature's Promise, O-Organics, Trader Joe's and Wegmans, among others.

The CDC says a new E. coli outbreak has been tied to organic carrots sold at a number of retailers like Trader Joe's and Costco, weeks after an E. coli outbreak took Quarter Pounders off the menu at McDonald's across a dozen states.
