Fantasy football season is here and drafting a good defense can sometimes make or break your team. Most fantasy owners spent plenty of time figuring out what skill players they want, but forget to put the research in for what D/ST may be the icing on the cake to a successful squad.
The Winnipeg Jets were the best team in the NHL this past season, at least during the regular season. Winnipeg has a strong core group in place, but this team hasn't been able to get over the hump in the postseason.
Hall isn’t wrong about any of that. Hall’s production, obviously, has lagged behind both Williams and Cook. And both have been in far better offensive situations. The Jets were an offensive disaster the last two years as they tailored their attack to fit Aaron Rodgers and little else.
Toews, a Winnipeg native, signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Jets on July 1. The three-time Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks (2010, 2013, 2015) is joining the defending Presidents’ Trophy winner, which finished first in the overall standings for the first time in franchise history.
With the Jets facing a third-and-2 at the Giants' 20-yard line, Fields' only pass on the drive, intended for Garrett Wilson was incomplete. Braelon Allen converted two third downs to keep the drive alive including an 11-yard gain on 3rd-and 8. Wilson was targeted on three of Fields' five throws Saturday.
