Madison County saw over 60 percent voter turnout on Election Day. “We’ve had a great strong turnout today,” Barger said. “Surprisingly the great majority of that happened prior to lunch and so we have been overwhelmed, and that’s not a bad thing, but overwhelmed with many of our polling locations because so many people voted very first thing.”
