PISCATAWAY, N.J. (WILX) - No. 7 Michigan State trailed by as many as 12 points but fought back late before Divine Ugochukwu nailed a game-tying three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining to send the game to overtime, where the Spartans outscored Rutgers 15-6 to take the victory 88-79.
The Spartans are continuing to rise in the projected brackets.
The Michigan State Spartans visit the Rutgers Scarlet Knights for a 6:30 p.m. ET contest Tuesday in Piscataway, New Jersey.
