MJF opened by commenting on Cole's weak ankle, how he never won the AEW World Title, and how he might be worried about cavities because his dentist, referencing Cole's ex-girlfriend Britt Baker, won't see him anymore. MJF secures the ownership of the Dynamite Diamond Ring for another year at AEW Worlds End. The finish of the match saw MJF hit Adam Cole with a low blow followed by the Heatseeker to score the pinfall victory.

On the December 18th episode of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole stated that Taven and Bennett would be ringside to ensure MJF doesn't use the Dynamite Diamond Ring when MJF faces Cole at AEW Worlds End.
