Mubi has picked up rights to Luca Guadagnino’s Queer in multiple territories. The deal with Fremantle covers the UK, Ireland, Canada, Latin America, Germany, Austria, Benelux, Spain, Turkey and India and all rights excluding theatrical in Italy.

While the actor has a number of well-acclaimed projects under his belt, William S. Burroughs’ Queer would definitely bring a new addition to his diverse roles. In this, he plays William Lee, who gets infatuated with a younger man.
