By clinching his fifth win of the 2025 season and 12th over the last two years on the PGA Tour, Scheffler became the first player since Tiger Woods to win 5+ tournaments in consecutive campaigns. Woods accomplished as much across five straight seasons from 1999-2003 and again for three consecutive years from 2005-07.

Scheffler most recently added to his trophy case by taking home the BMW Championship, the final event before the Tour Championship at East Lake. Scottie is beginning the Championship as the top player in FedExCup standings for the fourth year in a row and he is looking to take home the title for a second.

Scottie Scheffler clinched the BMW Championship with a dramatic chip-in birdie, while caddie Ted Scott missed the emotional win.
