Super Bowl LIX security will have 2,000 law enforcement officers on duty, along with 200 state troopers and 350 national guard troops, to patrolling the area.

With the sheer amount of law enforcement on every street corner and security measures in place, “New Orleans will be the safest place to be anywhere in the country,” said Phillip Constantin, an adviser with the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

"Following the events of Jan. 1, we came together with unwavering resolve to ensure that the people of New Orleans have a safe, supported - and are here to fully enjoy the excitement of Super Bowl 59," said NFL Chief Security Officer Cathy Lanier.

Despite heightened security measures in the French Quarter for Super Bowl week, Louisiana officials say legally carried firearms will still be allowed in the designated safety zone, despite ongoing concerns from city leaders.
