The NBA has suspended three players for their roles in the fracas between the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. Suns center Jusuf Nurkic has been suspended for three games, Mavericks forward Naji Marshall has been suspended for four games and Mavs forward P.

Phoenix Suns' center Jusuf Nurkic and Dallas Mavericks forwards Naji Marshall and P.J. Washington Jr. were ejected after an altercation between the three in the second half of Friday's game at Footprint Center.

P.J. Washington was also involved, shoving Nurkic during the melee. Nurkic, Marshall and Washington were ejected after the scuffle. After the game, a few Mavericks took a similar tone while discussing the matter, playing up the theme of protecting each other’s teammates.
