Instead of celebrating an SEC championship, Texas baseball turns its attention to a final three-game series at Oklahoma that begins on Thursday.

The top team in the country hasn't won a series in May after Florida took two of three games over No. 1 Texas in the weekend series. The Gators closed the series with a 4-1 win Sunday, with the previous results being 8-2 Gators on Friday and 5-2 Longhorns on Saturday.

Probability says Texas A&M players were grieving the loss of a season that most expected would end in a return trip to the College World Series, or even the national championship that escaped their grasp a season prior.
