Tottenham goal scorers João Palhinha and Brennan Johnson heaped praise on manager Thomas Frank after an impressive 2-0 win over Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has dismissed any talk of Eberechi Eze prior to his team's impressive performance at the Etihad. The Spurs secured a 2-0 victory at Manchester City with first-half goals from Brennan Johnson and Joao Palhinha to seal consecutive Premier League wins for Frank since he took over.

Thomas Frank also had plenty of praise to aim at Joao Palhinha before and after the impressive win, and Tottenham have a real opportunity on their hands with the Portugal international. Speaking before the 2-0 win, the Dane told TNT Sports: “Palhinha, I think, is a top player. I’m very happy that we signed him.
