OSHKOSH – Decision Day is almost here. The Winnebago County electorate will vote on a number of key races in Tuesday’s election, including those for president, U.S. senator and state Assembly seats. Voters will also be faced with a state referendum, a municipal referendum and three school district referendums on their ballots.

With the election of incumbents Shanel Robinson and Sara Sooy, Democrats held on to their 5-0 control of the County Commission. Robinson, with 74,435 votes, and Sooy, with 73,579 votes, outpolled Republicans Nick Cuozzo,

With just over 36,000 votes counted on Tuesday evening — in a county with just under 140,000 registered voters — the results remain inconclusive.
