More than 1,700 passengers and crew members are reportedly being barred from disembarking a cruise ship docked in France after a passenger died from a suspected norovirus outbreak that’s sickened dozens of others.

It's understood there are 48 active cases of gastrointestinal illness (GII) among the guests, and one among the crew.
