Florida basketball fell to TCU to open the Rady's Children Invitational in San Diego. Here is what happened in the Gators' Thanksgiving loss.

Florida State will play its next three games against power conference teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year.

According to a team spokesman, Condon took a hit to the chin in the Gators’ 84-80 loss a day earlier and was held out for precautionary reasons. The hit came during a layup by Reuben Chinyelu, who made the contact against Condon.

Florida big man Reuben Chinyelu put together a historical performance on the boards. His 21 rebounds were the most in the shot clock era. The last time a UF player hit the mark was Eugene McDowell in 1982. Chinyelu also scored 14 points in his performance.

And this one got ugly QUICK. Florida State didn't look prepared for Texas A&M's pressure, they kept losing track of Ruben Dominguez (one of the greatest shooters on the planet right now), the transition defense was awful, and no one could get downhill to create easy shots for others.

The Florida Gators left no doubt against Merrimack on Friday, putting the game away by halftime. Rueben Chinyelu's 21 rebounds led to a 35-point win.
