The Hoosiers will be part of a special showdown Saturday, but here's where things stand and who IU might play if rankings stay the same.

Here are the players with the best performances in the 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A championship games of the 2025 IHSA high school football playoffs.

Between Kaliakmanis and sophomore stars KJ Duff and Antwan Raymond, the Scarlet Knights had a 3,000-yard passer, an 1,000-yard receiver and an 1,000-yard rusher on the same team for the second time in program history. The trio all had one of their best career performances against the Nittany Lions, too.

Both games will be at Illinois State University’s Hancock Stadium. The Class 5A game, Providence vs. St. Francis, will start at 3 p.m. with the Class 6A game, Fenwick vs. East St. Louis, following at 6 p.m. All previously purchased tickets will be honored.
