SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A garbage truck fire has closed southbound lanes of Sparks Boulevard at Henry Orr. The fire was first reported at around 3:00 p.m. Thursday. The contents of the truck were reportedly offloaded onto the street, meaning the closure could last for an extended period of time for cleanup.

WINDHAM - Firefighters responded to a fire in a garbage truck Thursday morning, according to the Windham Center Fire Department. The fire was reported in the area of Follett Road near the baseball field around 8 a.m., and responding crews found an active blaze in the truck's back compartment, the department said.
