After the seizure, both men were arrested and charged with first-degree sale of 17 grams or more of meth within 90 days. They were identified in the criminal complaint as 44-year-old Guillermo Chaparro, of Chicago, and Joel Casas-Santiago, 46, of Minneapolis.

Prosecutors allege that two men who were arrested and charged in the bust are "both are associated with larger drug sale organizations in Mexico."

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Enforcement Team and federal agents seized nearly 900 pounds of meth in Minneapolis this week. St. Paul police, which has officers on the team, and the sheriff’s office said it may have been the largest drug bust in the state’s history.
