With one starter not in the lineup, some New England Patriots backups have impressed over the last few weeks.

An updated look at the Patriots’ roster in 2026.

The Patriots selected nine players who they hope will be a part of a bright future. After the draft, the team also signed 11 undrafted free agents. The team released three players this week (Elijah Mitchell, Marshall Lang and John Jiles). That brought their roster total to 88.
