The lottery jackpot was an estimated $100 million with a cash option of $45.3 million for Monday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot was last won on Jan. 18 when a Oregon lottery player won $329 million Powerball jackpot.

Two Powerball tickets sold in California won $27,402 each, but just missed the $88 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The tickets matched four of five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, Feb. 1, the California Lottery said.
