The React project originated at Facebook; the open source project has a BSD license and a patent rights grant from Facebook. React is not an end-to-end JavaScript application framework.

The learning centre will include a library, tutorial rooms, administration offices, student centre, book shop, cafeteria, and event space. The project is due for completion in 2012.
