The Los Angeles Dodgers returned to Toronto in deep trouble for Game 6 of the World Series with their backs against the wall after losing back-to-back Games 4 and 5 at home. A single loss could cost them the series.

Combining viewership in both the U.S. and Canada, Game 4 was up 21% over last year with 21.5 million viewers, the most-watched World Series game in the two countries since Game 7 of 2019. The four-game averaged in both the U.S. and Canada is 19.3 million, a 23% increase over 2024 and the most-watched since the Cubs’ win in 2016.

And after the Red Sox stole Game 1 with a seventh-inning rally, the Yankees broke back to win Game 2 4-3, square the series 1-1 and, they believe, seize the momentum before some 48,000 bipartisan supporters cram into Yankee Stadium one more time Oct. 2.
