SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The 22-year-old Utah man charged with killing Charlie Kirk can appear in court wearing street clothes but must be physically restrained due to security concerns, a judge ruled Monday. A Senate subcommittee hearing on political violence is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET. Watch in the player above.

The hearing comes after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and so far, has conservative commentator and podcast host Michael Knowles confirmed as a witness.
