The new store is located at 399 Washington St. Opening hours are listed as 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Sunday, per UNIQLO. The Downtown Crossing location brings Uniqlo’s Massachusetts footprint to six, according to The Boston Globe, and the brand says it plans to keep adding more U.S. stores this year.

A popular Japanese clothing company has a new location right in the center of Boston. Uniqlo held a grand opening for its new Downtown Crossing location at 399 Washington St. on Friday. The space was previously occupied by a Barnes & Noble bookstore but has sat empty since the store closed in 2006.

Uniqlo founder Tadashi Yanai said that the company’s field naming-rights deal at Dodger Stadium “covers five years” and that the total value was “more” than $125M.
