British Airways owner IAG on Friday unveiled plans to buy 71 long-haul aircraft from Airbus and Boeing , sharing a major fleet expansion across the Atlantic a day after Britain and the U.S. announced a trade deal.

IAG SA announced a major aircraft order for widebody jets, doubling down on a long-haul business that’s powered its earnings and helps the airline group upgrade from older models.

British Airways and Iberia parent IAG has revealed orders for 71 widebody jets from Airbus and Boeing as it seeks to replace older long-haul types and grow its fleet.
