A blizzard warning is in effect for much of the Washington Cascades north of Skamania County as a bomb cyclone rages off the Oregon and Washington coasts.

A so-called "bomb cyclone" arrived in the Pacific Northwest Tuesday, bringing with it rain, wind, and mountain snow. Many agencies across the region are preparing for the storm that's expected to ramp up overnight into Wednesday morning.
