Early Entry Eliminated at Disneyland - Will Walt Disney World Be Next?
Disneyland Resort announced today that its Early Entry program for hotel guests will end on January 5, 2026, to be replaced by a one-time Lightning Lane Multi Pass entry benefit during each stay. The decision was attributed to limited guest use of the Early Entry benefit at Disneyland hotels.
Disneyland ending early park access for hotel guests
Disneyland Resort hotel guests are losing the early park access perk starting January 5, 2026. They will no longer get to use the Early Theme Park Entry program, which allows access 30 minutes before the park officially opens. Instead hotel guests will receive one free Lightning Lane entry pass during their stay.
Guests of the Disneyland Resort hotels typically have 30-minute Early Entry to select attractions, dining, and shopping at a designated theme park each day of the week.
