Billings Logan International Airport is starting to see the effects of the FAA directive to reduce 10% of air traffic at 40 major U.S. airports.

Nearly 75 canceled flights had been reported at Denver International Airport as of 1 p.m. Nov. 7 — up 1,750% from the previous day — as shutdown-related flight cuts set in at across the country. Data from flight tracking website, Flight Aware, showed 74 flight cancellations and 150 flight delays at the Denver airport as of 1 p.m. Nov. 7.

A recent meeting gave people a chance to express concerns about a new flight restrictions over President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.

Oakland International Airport, the other Bay Area airport affected by FAA flight reductions, had at least 12 cancellations on Friday morning, and 15 delays so far.

The expansion will involve adding onto the existing terminal so more passengers can access the gate area at one time.  This will allow Allegiant to service two planes on the ground at once.
