Former winner Jai Hindley (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) has abandoned the the Giro d'Italia after being involved in a crash that caused the race to be neutralised. Stage 6 has been neutralised 71km from the finish in Napoli following a mass crash in the peloton.
