Despite a slide into the fifth round, Browns QB Shedeur Sanders leads most 2025 NFL draft rookies in jersey sales

The Shedeur Sanders saga was still unresolved entering the NFL draft's third day and the intrigue yielded a massive ratings bump for the made-for-television event. Per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Saturday's coverage averaged 4.3 million viewers across all platforms, a 43% percent jump over last year's final day.

After being projected as a first-round pick, Shedeur Sanders fell to the fifth round of the NFL Draft, before finally being selected by the Cleveland Browns. Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter recently spoke on the Fully Loaded podcast and said that Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders were largely to blame for the slide.
