GSC Game World has released a new trailer announcing that the PS5 version of the game, revealed earlier this summer, will launch on November 20, 2025, the first anniversary of its release on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
That means, from August 21, the price of the standard PS5 console will increase from $499.99 to $549.99. The cheaper PS5 Digital Edition will also see a jump from $449.99 to $499.99. Lastly, the premium PS5 Pro will leap from $699.99 to $749.99 – yikes.
Sony has announced something we’ve been expecting all along, and that’s increase the price of the PS5 console. This increase applies to all PlayStation 5 console variants. The price increase in the US will take effect tomorrow, August 21, which means if you’re on the fence on picking one up, best to do it today.
