Snow will continue over much of the area comprising Denver and the surrounding region through Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). Snowfall is expected to be heaviest in a band along the I-76 south to Colorado Springs and Limon.

The City of Denver will active its residential plows for the storm expected to drop up to a foot of snow on parts of the Denver metro area. The city's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure said residential plows will activate at midnight and will run two 12-hour shifts.
