President Donald Trump returned from a campaign-style rally at a Washington, D.C., arena to the White House to sign more executive orders, including a sweeping one that pardoned those convicted of storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Having been sworn in and after events at the Capitol, President Donald Trump’s inauguration moved to Capital One Arena, where he is addressing supporters and is expected to sign a number of executive orders.

President-elect Trump is making the rounds in Washington on Sunday ahead of a victory rally at Capital One Area just before Inauguration Day. Trump arrived in the nation’s capital over the weekend where he is preparing to take a second term in the White House as the Republican trifecta takes form.

Trump said he plans to sign nearly 100 executive orders on his first day. Some of that will happen at a desk set up onstage in Capital One Arena, NewsNation’s Libbey Dean reported. The president will also sign executive orders back at the White House inside the Oval Office on Monday evening.
