Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has declined an interview for the New England Patriots' head coaching job.

Aaron Glenn is a busy man, as he's preparing for the Detroit Lions upcoming playoff run, while also completing his first round of head coaching interviews. Five of the six teams with head coach vacancies have scheduled interviews with Glenn, and it turns out the one remaining team, the New England Patriots, didn't make the cut.

According to NFL Network, Glenn has declined an interview request to speak to the Patriots. After one season, the Patriots (4-13) made the decison to part ways with Jerod Mayo.
