Famously, the pair skipped out on their honeymoon to embark on a filmed crocodile rescue mission – the footage went on to become "The Crocodile Hunter" series, the Australia Zoo website says.

Two perentie lizards, known for their size and carnivorous diet, have been successfully bred at the Los Angeles Zoo. This marks the first time the species has been bred outside of Australia.
