The Nitro Blaze 8 and 11 also differ in design, with the Blaze 11 featuring detachable controllers. The larger Acer option also has a front camera, making it practical for video calls. Weighing 2.3 lbs, only the Nitro Blaze 11 includes a sturdy kickstand. Players will benefit from Hall effect analog sticks and triggers on both models.

We always expect some bizarre tech to come out of CES, and Acer has made it clear that 2025 is no exception with the unveiling of its enormous 11-inch Windows gaming handheld.

Handheld gaming PCs have seen a huge resurgence over the past couple of years thanks to the Steam Deck, and now Acer is bringing two more to market at CES with the Nitro Blaze 8 and the Nitro Blaze 11.

Acer’s Nitro Blaze 8, Blaze 11 have larger screens than the handheld competition, but similar AMD-based CPU and graphics. The Blaze also has removable controllers.
