RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (WCJB) - An Amber Alert was issued for two missing children from Palm Beach County after they disappeared on Monday evening. Officials say Aizon and Akachi Turner, 3 and 11 years old, respectively, were last seen in the area of West Sixth Street in Riviera Beach, Florida. The boy may be in the company of Audrey Turner, 43.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ( WWSB /Gray News) - An Amber Alert was issued Monday for two missing children from Riviera Beach, Florida. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said 3-year-old Aizon Turner and 11-year-old Akachi Turner, were last seen in the area of the 1200 block of West Sixth Street in Riviera Beach.

There's a new alert system for serious missing persons cases in the city called the "Emerald Alert" — a nod to the color of the iconic Spirit of Detroit statue, Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison and Council President Mary Sheffield announced on Monday, Aug. 18.

Two bills aimed at expanding the criteria for Amber Alerts in Michigan and updating the methods of transmitting them passed a Michigan House committee last week.
