Outfielder Ichiro Suzuki and pitcher CC Sabathia are among 14 new candidates on the Hall of Fame ballot, joining 14 holdovers led by reliever Billy Wagner.

Ballots are due to be postmarked by Dec. 31 and will be counted by BBWAA secretary-treasurer Jack O’Connell and Ernst & Young partner Mark Moran. Results will be announced by Hall of Fame president Josh Rawitch at 6 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2025, live on MLB Network.

The BBWAA Hall of Fame ballot was revealed Monday. The ballot this year features 14 returning players, including Billy Wagner and Andruw Jones along with 14 first-timers -- the big names there being Ichiro Suzuki and CC Sabathia.
