Dangerous wind chills and more snow are making Thursday and Friday First Alert Weather Days, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the Tri-State until 9 a.m.

Temps are starting out quite chilly, in the upper 30s to mid 40s with a little bit of a wind chill also making it feel colder.

Several counties in the Miami Valley have been issued a Cold Weather Advisory for Thursday morning. The National Weather Service shows the following counties will be

High pressure in control for our Thursday, which brought clear skies and bitter temperatures to start Thursday morning. Clouds will build throughout the day but staying dry through Friday afternoon, that's when a line of showers and storms will move into the Panhandle following our next cold front,

Friday will start partly cloudy before becoming mostly cloudy by around lunch. After lunch we have another round of snow coming in. It’ll start first out west, then move out east. Arrival times look to be west of Roanoke by around 2 to 3 p.

The winter weather advisory takes effect at 6 a.m. Thursday. Forecasters say 2-4 inches of snow could fall, with some sleet mixed in at the outset of the storm.
