The action movie’s Monday fall came after the Telugu film broke all records nationally and registered strong responses worldwide. With massive response on the weekend, the movie earned the title of the biggest opener of Indian cinema.

The film, directed by Koratala Siva and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, crossed the Rs 300 crore gross milestone globally after just six days. Domestically, the film raked in Rs 207.85 crore nett, marking a successful first week at the box office.

Devara, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, was released on September 27, and it has been running successfully in the box office since day 1.
