Everton are closing in on a deal for Tyler Dibling after a transfer about-turn by Southampton. After bids of around £40m were rebuffed earlier this month, the Saints initiated fresh talks on Friday and a move is close. Personal terms for the 19-year-old are not expected to be an issue.

Everton are closing in on the £40m signing of Southampton midfielder Tyler Dibling. The England Under-21 international has been the subject of three offers from the Toffees this summer that were rejected.

Personal terms have been agreed in principle and, if all goes to plan, the 19-year-old will undergo a medical early next week.
